Still no comments back and I want to make sure we have the right place to eat. After accomplishing this run, I am looking for three things - red meat, red wine, and a cigar! Who's with me?

Hey, what's the story on what the team is going to wear? Can everyone find/still fit into the ROT jerseys? If not, I know how we can have next generation ROT jerseys put together.

Gentlemen,
in the past 2 weeks of running, I have seen way to many "short" running shorts. I would like to make a motion that all shorts run by the Slow Running team are at least 3/4s length. Can I get a second?

I am driving up Friday am and have 2 client meetings scheduled during the first half of the day. Plan to be done around 3p CST. Have made calls to the Four Seasons regarding room availability for the weekend. Our corporate rate - rooms permitting - is about 190/night and we would be less than 2 miles from the start of the race.

If they build that wall they're talking about, that source of cheap labor might be a bit more scarce. I think we should all consider skipping the marathon and helping Pete resod.

My first thought is a celebratory Steak and Red Wine - therefore, Gibson's down around Rush and Oak. A client is good friends with the owner and can get us a table, even on a busy Sunday night after the marathon.
A more casual, yet great food and drinks could be PJ Clark's. Just a few thoughts.

I'll probably get into Chicago on Friday around 10 am. I'm thinking about leaving on Tuesday morning and spending Monday just laying around doing nothing. I don't know how my body will react to 26 blastin' miles. But if everyone else is leaving Monday, then I'll be a lemming and leave Monday too. Please let me know.
As for finding a hotel room... good luck. I tried looking and there's nothing available that's close to downtown. I haven't tried anywhere near Chris. Hey Wally, what hotels are nearby your house?

If you are using the schedule for Chicago - take 2 miles off the long runs through Sept 19th. That way you don't push things too far. I.E. For Saturday 27th - only run 7.
